Professor Liu is now a professor of Tongji University Law School, doctoral supervisor, Democratic Party, director of the National Society of criminal procedure law. He has a Bachelor of law degree from Nanjing University, a master of law degree from Wuhan University and a doctor of law degree from Fudan University. He once visited the Law School of the University of Michigan in the United States and was selected as the Deputy Attorney General of Canglang District Procuratorate of Suzhou under the national "Double Thousand Talents of Law" plan. In 2019, he was selected as a member of the young legal talent pool of Shanghai Law Society.

Selected Publications:   

1. Professor Liu presided over the national philosophy and Social Science Fund Project "Research on the function of criminal procedure law".

2. Professor Liu presided over the humanities and Social Sciences project "Soft law research in criminal proceedings" of the Ministry of Education.

3. He published his personal monograph "Research on the function of criminal procedure law" and won the third prize of outstanding research achievement of youth of China Society of Criminal Procedure Law.

4. He has published dozens of papers in core journals such as law research, law business research, comparative law research, law review, modern law, global law review, legal system and social development.
