Practice areas: maritime law, shipping competition law and international economic law

Dr. Qiuwen WANG is currently an associate professor and master supervisor of East China University of Political Science and Law, and a Ph.D. of Law in Tsinghua University. She has won the honor of Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar of Columbia University, the Excellent Paper Award of China Society of International Economic Law, the Shanghai Excellent Textbook Award, the Excellent Graduate of Peking University and the First Class Scholarship of Tsinghua University, and won the best debater among 28 contestants from 22 countries in the Moot Court Competition of the International Foundation for the Law of the Sea in 2009. She has presided over the Youth Project of National Social Science Fund, China Law Society Ministerial Project, Shanghai Municipal Government Democracy and Rule of Law Project, Shanghai Education Commission Project, Shanghai Law Society Project and many other projects. She has published more than 30 papers in core journals such as Intertrade, Political Science and Law, Law Science Magazine, and Chinese Journal of Maritime Law. She published a monograph "Research on Anti-monopoly Legal Regulation of International Shipping", co-authored "Research on International Law Theory and Practice of Freedom of Navigation", and co-edited "Bilingual Course of Maritime Law". Prof. Wang was a visiting scholar at the Hague Academy of International Law, United Nations International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea, United Nations University, Max Planck Institute for Comparative Law and Private International Law, Singapore International Arbitration Center. Prof. Wang is good at handling cases of maritime law, shipping competition law and international economic law.
